This morning's bento was very straightforward. A turkey sandwich on tasty whole grain bread, a carrot, a few sections of an orange, and two cookies. (Thanks again, Leslie, for the chocolate chip cookies!)

Hi there Mer, sorry if I sound dumb...what's 'bento'? Love the porpupine balls & the phat lunch box! LOL
Not a dumb question at all! "Bento" is the japanese term for a boxed meal.
Near the end of my very first post I mention what got me interested in making bentos, and there is a link to a newspaper article, and some photo galleries of others' bentos.
