Humble Hundred

I hope this isn't too much of a let-down. I had hoped to do something really special for my 100th bento. But bentos have become so second-nature to me that I couldn't wait until a more convenient time to create #100. In fact, today I packed two bentos, and didn't have time for anything overly elaborate.

Lunch bento, #99:
Contains:

I would like to highlight the delicious pasta salad made especially for me by my mom-in-law:

Yum!

And dinner bento, humble #100:

Contains:
  • salad
  • Mexican-style Rice-a-roni
  • tomato slices
  • salsa
  • (I added a few tortilla chip crumbles for crunch)
It was a long day between work, a meeting and then rehearsal. So now I'm going to head for bed.

Happy bento!

I made your mudajarra yesterday, using vegetable broth. I subbed quick-cooking barley for the bulgur because that's what I had in the house. It was delicious and fast!
